Window Flag

Why is it illegal to put a flag of another country in your window even if you own the house? (In Canada)?

The cops will come instantly if you put a flag of eg the usa, scotland etc in the inside of your window or anywhere that a person outside your house can see it! It doesn’t matter if you hang the Canadian flag as well! This is so intolerant! Especially as we are a country solely of Immigrants! If you can wear a turban on the street or a sari etc then why can’t you display your flag!?

I don’t know what happens next but I know that even after paying the fine you cannot keep the flag -it has to come down!

That is Canada my friend. Gun ownership in the toilet, national health care with any Dr working outside of it subject to arrest, and some of my friends in the States think it is such a wonderful place. As far as the turban and sari goes, your government is pandering, not all that different from the French.
