How to say welcome home in spanish?

My friend is coming back from college for the summer and she is taking lots of Spanish classes and talking in Spanish all the time. So I thought it would be fun if I could say “Welcome Home” to her when she comes back. How would I say this? I saw some other similar questions on here but how do you pronounce what I’m supposed to say?

“Bienvenida!” would be good enough, but you could use the whole thing: “Bienvenida a casa!”.

BI- as in bee
EN-as the “en” in entrance
VE- as the “ve” in Venice
NIDA-as in “need a”
You have to say “BIEN” fast and together as one thing, and you may apply some strenght in the sound produced by the “ee” in “need” at the end of the word.

I think it will be much better if you say bienvenida Carla (or any name) instead of bienvenida a casa.
Good luck
