Who has had a better record against non-conference opponents than Pete Carroll’s USC Trojans in this century?
That’s right. In fact, USC in the past 6 years has seldom lost by more than one touchdown. That is unbelievable, seriously.
So tell me why, wouldn’t any true college football fan want to see the Trojans in the national title game? Well maybe they are afraid that their beloved team will be humbled by the Trojans on the big stage?
I agree. Sentiment really gets against a winner in 1) another part of the country 2) who beats/drubs there team esp. twice 3) when they stand in the way or MAY stand in the way of their team’s success in polls
I call it “The underlying FEAR” USC is a lot better team than most think it is and WILL IMPROVE. (I am not for USC this year, but the truth should be the truth.)
HERE’S MY PICK: If any non pac 10 team fan thinks his school can beat USC this year, then if they DO, I’ll think their team must be the
BEST. I’d vote for TX #1 tonight, or someone else if TX loses; like FL
But I don’t really “think” they would beat USC if both played next Sat.
