Terrier Garden

How fast does the wind have to blow to lift a terrier?
It’s been really windy here and I was watching my Grandmothers little terrier in the garden and I thought she was going to get blow away. How fast does the wind have to be to lift a terrier off its feet?
Here’s a chart of FORCE per square foot that is applied to objects at various wind speeds.

assuming dog has a “side surface area” of approx 1 ft² then the force pushing it sideways if dog was perpendicular to wind would be listed in this chart – I’m not sure that a dog would represent a good model for a plane though? – probably being blown sideways with enough force so that it couldn’t stand on its feet, would be the best model for what would happen in this case.
Mollie the Irish terrier – fun in the garden!
