What products or procedures to use to make my LONG, dry hair…a SHORT one without cutting it or tangle-free?

Pls. help me to make my hair a little short one, without cutting it….OR even just more shiny and tangle-free?? you can also just answer one of my questions, but if you can help me out of these two, pls. tell me how …. thnX!

i say trim all the dead off and get cute front layers just to give it definition. you can keep the length but still be cute and healthy!
