What software should I use to rate and add tags/comments to my .avi movie files like I can do for .mp3 music f?

In Windows/Vista folders, I can give ratings up to five stars to my .mp3 files. In Windows photo gallery I can add tags and ratings. Where can I add same to .avi movies? Going through Properties dialog window doesn’t seem to work…any ideas?
