Summer Large Decorative
Fencing Laws (United Kingdom)?
The boundary between my residential property and my neighbour’s residential property is divided by a decorative fence somewhat similar to a garden trellis in design. The fence is being damaged by the neighbour’s young children and dogs through rough play and forcibly pulling on the various wood chips, and this damage is creating large holes which could allow access between the properties. I am doing what I can to patch these holes but the affected areas are spreading and growing in size. Obviously as summer approaches the children will be in their garden more frequently and I don’t have the time needed to repair the fence on a daily basis.
Are there any laws which would force the neighbour to erect a new fence at their cost? How can I go about bringing this to action?

Not sure the answer, but I do have a solution.. a nice HOLLY, BERBERIS or GORSE hedge will do the trick;)
