Most of these Free Ads web pages let you post a url with your ad, so take advantage of this and link to whatever you consider your main Free Ad, so making what the SEO guys call a link wheel . This will get your main Free Ad lots of extra traffic, not from the people following a link, but from Ask.

Dont forget Social Marketing which nowadays is vitally important! Put a link pointed at your main ads on your facebook page, LinkedIn, and do a twitter tweet for each one. Use hashtags in your tweet for key words and the location: #antique #silver snuffbox for sale in #Truro and add your main link url. By doing this many more people than just your followers will see your tweet, remember there are nearly 200 MILLION people viewing twitter.

Take advantage of one of ebays free listing days. In your ad place a disclaimer to the effect that the item is for sale elsewhere and tell people you reserve the right to withdraw the offer at any time. Link from the Ebay page to your main advert plus a few others.

Keep a list of the URLs for your ads plus any passwords and son in order that you may cancel them after you have sold the item, or update them every month if you are selling a product or service.
