A Parent child relationship is the most beautiful relationship gifted by god to the mankind. One should respect this relationship and try to endure it all through. It is the selfless relationship especially from the parents end. But day by day this relationship is becoming very complicated and difficult to endure the hardships of this beautiful relationship. Day by day misunderstandings are piling up due to communication gap. Due to these misunderstandings these relations are becoming really sour. The problem is the lack of time in this competitive world not only the children but even the parents want to be really very successful and outstanding. In this fight to be the first in this competitive raise one looses certain precious relationships which are a very big loss.

Today most of the parents are working be it father or mother. Apart from working certain parents split thus leaving the child in a more miserable situation. Thus it is the duty of the parents to search for ways to avoid such a situation. Do not let the geographical distances or the time problems create a difference and spoil such beautiful relationship. Thus follow the tips given below to keep your children close to your heart:

a) Learn to use the technology:

We are living in the technological age where distance is not an issue. A person can communicate easily with a person sitting miles and miles and miles away from you. It is not even costly to make use of such technologies. Internet and chatting has made communication very easy and convenient. SMS is the best way to express oneself and by and far it is very cheap. Multimedia is a boon of technological advancements. These help a person to communicate easily and talk face to face that to at a very low cost. In today’s time there is nothing that is impossible. What you think of is possible practically. Thus it is the duty of parents and even the children to learn all this and make use of technology. Do not let misunderstandings mount up due to any communication gaps.

b) Make it a point to Talk about the Everyday Stuff

After learning how to use gadgets a person should even decide upon what to talk about. A parent should be very frank and open minded while talking to their children. Make your child really comfortable while he is talking to you. Give him all the space so that he can talk about all his private stuff to you. Make sure that a person is more of a friend than a parent. Keep yourself updated of all the things that are happening around especially the movies and fashion stuff. Talk to them about their progress in school, friends and even movies.

c) Make them a part of your daily routine- involvement is necessary.

Things should go both ways. If a parent wishes to know everything about their children’s life then they should be open enough to share their life with their children. Make them a part and parcel of your every day’s life. Be a friend and even consider you’re your friend.
