Do you know any good ways to deal with excessive heat?

I’m 13. Tomorrow at school it is our annual “Spirit Day.” It is where we go down to the field next to our school and play physical games outdoors all day (i.e. flag football, relay races) I live in Philadelphia and the high is 90 degrees! Our school doesn’t have air conditioning and I have low tolerence for the heat. I don’t know how to keep myself from overheating. Does anyone have any ideas?

Outside on a hot day… 90 degrees is comfortable here.
I live in sunny California. When we are over 100 it is uncomfortable hot. Of course, everyone has A/C, inside the house, at the business, in the car, in the schools, and all the malls.

Easy ways to deal with the heat are to keep yourself hydrated, drink lots of water.
Another idea is to keep a wash cloth wet / damp with cool water. Apply the cloth to the back of your neck or forehead to cool the entire body.
Another way to cool the body is to put your feet in cool water. If you don’t have a wading pool to use, try a small bucket or something similar.
Wear cool fabric clothing and stay in the shade.
