Assassins creed brotherhood: Does collecting flags increase your total synchronization?
I beat AC:Brotherhood about a day ago and was going to start collecting all of the flags. I started doing the Christina side missions though and did the first 3 but then i wasn’t given any others. I found out you need to increase your total sync to unlock them. So my question is will collecting the flags help increase my sync or will i have to go and finish the “Total sync” Challenges in the memories that i didn’t get?

Sadly no, they don’t bring up your synchronization. Along with treasures, feathers, all those collectibles are put in the ‘additional memories’ in your DNA. Although if you do get all 101 flags, you get the Borgia cape (when you equip it, your always incognito) and a achievement.
So your right, you need to 100% everything, sequences, war machines, templar agents, assassinations, etc.
