Sewn Nylon

Trying to sew a nylon layer onto fabric, but the bobbin thread and the top thread are not mating.?

I have varied the tension and I tried strong monofilament so thats not it…help!

Could you please clarify your question? Nylon is a fiber, not a fabric, so are you trying to sew a nylon fabric to a different fabric? If so, which fabrics? Are they woven or knit?What size needle and what style needle point are you using? Is the needle in the machine correctly — with most machines now, the flat side of the needle goes to the back of the machine. Is the bobbin in the bobbin case correctly? Did you fetch up the bobbin thread before starting to sew?
