Set Flagpole

how can i solve this problem? 10 points (math)?
1.) Which set of numbers could represent the lengths of the sides of a right triangle?
a.)3, 6, 9
b.)4, 8, 12
c.)3, 4, 5
d.) 3, 5, 8
2.) Which set of numbers could represent the lengths of the sides of a right triangle?
a.) 12,√52 , 16
b.) 9, √63 , 12
c.)10,√7, 17
d.)11,√72 , 15
3.) √3x-4=3
4.) An equation for estimating the speed of a tsunami is S=3.1√d where d is the depth of the ocean in meters and s is the speed in meters per second. Find the depth of the ocean in meters when the speed of a tsunami is 300 meters per second. Round your answer to the nearest tenth of a meter.
5.) A rope 32 m long is attached to the top of a flagpole. The rope reaches a place on the ground 12 m from the base of the pole. How many meters high is the flagpole? If necessary, round your answer to the nearest tenth.
1) C. 3×3=9 4×4=16 9+16 = 25 (5×5)
2) B 9×9=81 12×12=144 √63x√63 = 63 63+81=144
3) 49/3
4) 300 = 3.1√d
300/3.1=√d
(300/3.1)x(300/3.1) = d 90000/9.61 = 9365.24
5) 1040 = 144 + 880
√880 = 29.66
Not sure if they’re all right ;p
