Can using print screen on pictures infected with viruses allow you to avoid getting viruses?

If one were to use print screen to copy a picture into paint or something similar, and if that picture were infected with a virus, would the virus still be on the picture even though it was copied with print screen?

A JPEG with embedded executable code is not dangerous unless your system is already compromised. If your system is compromised, simply opening the JPEG is enough to execute the viral code contained in it. Since it has to be opened to use Print Screen to copy it, it’s too late. The short answer in the first response is correct: No.

A Great Day in Harlem

And what a day it was: nearly 60 jazz musicians, gathered on a Harlem street one morning in 1958 for what photographer Art Kane rightly, if immodestly, calls “the greatest picture of that era of musicians ever taken” (incredibly, it was also Kane’s first professional shoot).
