Idea #1: Spend the Day at the Roger Williams Park Zoo. Those areas are the Plains of Africa, North America, Tropical America, Marco Polo Trail, Wetlands, and Austrailasia. The North America section of the zoo houses animals that range from the arctic to the forest out the back door. Tropical America features a wide variety of animals from the rainforest. Located at the center of the zoo is the Wetlands trail. 

Idea #2:  Looking into the Past at the Museum of Primitive Art and Culture in Rhode Island. The Museum of Primitive Art and Culture, located in South County, Rhode Island, was founded in 1892. Many of the items are from a variety of North American cultures. The current exhibits on display at the museum provide a great look at cultures from all around the world.
