Polyester Flags

is it a good idea to put a 3′ x 5′ polyester flag on the car hood?

i recently bought a vancouver canucks 3′ by 5′ flag and before i put it on my car hood, i jus wanna make sure it wont melt when the hood gets hot!!
or any other ideas?

I could see the air catching under it and pulling the whole thing off at speed.

I wouldn’t recommend it.
