Advice on how to hang large and heavy garland outside around my doorway?
Any ideas (other than nails) on how to to hang a large and heavy garland outside around my doorway?
I have tried the command hooks but the ones large enough to handle the load are not flush against the siding and hanging it on the actual wood casing is out because the garland is to large and would hang down in the actual doorway.
Does anyone else have some good ideas on how to hang this stuff?
Staple gun? Or if there is anything you could permanently attach that would have an opening just large enough to fit one of those plastic tie things that you pull tight and they “zip” shut? Zip-ties? I’m not sure what they’re called but I use them to hang heavy things because they are very sturdy and they never come open. You have to cut them off. They come in a dark green for use in gardening, so if your garland is green, you won’t even see them. You might even be able to zip them around nails if the head is big enough.
