Outdoor Reception Menu/Decor Ideas?

The reception will be held at our home. Small cabin type in the woods with huge shed and also putting up huge tents to accomadate about 500 guests.
We are planning on roasting a pig. What other ideas for food? It’s nothing too formal. Decor is the only thing kinda formal. DJ will be in the shed for dancing later on. Prolly make it a buffet type just because there is so much family to feed. We have plenty of roasters to work with. Ideas for anything? Decor ideas welcome too!

I would do potato and pasta salads, veggie trays, fruit trays, potatoes, maybe even some sauerkraut to go with the pork.
