Nylon Valley
Should I buy a nylon string guitar or steel string one?
I already have a Yamaha CG-101A ($200)
Now I have saved up and would like a better guitar, should I get a Orpheus Valley Sophia (Classical Nylon) and have 2 classical guitars
OR get a Taylor 110 (Steel string) guitar?
both are around $600
If you’re going to buy a Taylor, at least get the Taylor 214. It’s made with all solid wood as opposed to the 110 which is made from plywood. Plus it’s a better shape and it comes with a hard case. Don’t buy a classical guitar unless you’re interested in playing classical music.
Better yet, save up some more money and get a better steel string guitar, like the Taylor 614 or 914 or a Martin 000-18 or 000-28.
