What are the laws against Neon Underglow in South Carolina?

My friend bought his first car and it has neon underglow under it, and we’re trying to figure out what kinda is illegal and stuff in South Carolina.
Can someone PLEASE find some.. Official site that points out whats allowed and what isnt. I cant find ANYTHING. But dont really know where to look exactly for underglow laws LOL.

most underglow is illegal. although it is illegal, most police will overlook it. just like with certain shades of tint on car windows being illegal. it’s a law that is there but not really enforced. i have two friends with streetglow on their cars and have yet to be pulled over. i also have 20% tint on my windows (legal tint is 27% and up). it depends on what kind of car you drive too. if it looks like a fast car then the police are more likely to pull you over. it’s kind of a risk, but more than likely you will be okay. here’s a site that may help. www.streetracing.org/boards/showthread.php?t=107598
