What can I do about the CRAPPY birthday gifts my sister-in-law gave me?
I recently had a birthday, and my sister-in-law and brother gave me a few gifts:
1) a huge chinese gong windchime
2) a 12″ tall notepad
3) a monogrammed dish towel
In the past, I’ve gotten other lousy crap, like a wooden watch case, a martini shaker, a giant carwashing gun device for your garden hose… I could go on and on. I’m thinking about putting all the crap in a bag with “FREE” written on it and leaving it outside on the curb.
What I’m concerned about is that I want her to stop buying this useless junk for me on my birthday and on Christmas. Is there anything I can do or say to her? I appreciate the thought, but these are perhaps the WORST gifts anyone could ever receive! At times I think she goes out of her way to buy this junk for me just to piss me off.
Just buy me a giftcard. Sheeeesh.
it’s called recycling those crappy gifts back to her. she will get the point. and u don’t have to look at those eye sores ever again. and FYI..wrapped them in pretty wrapping paper.
