Top Ten MLB Gifts Baseball Fans Would Love

We’ve trimmed the outliers and compiled a reasonable list to help guide you in choosing the right gift for that sports fan. Read on for the results:

  1. Personalized Baseball Uniforms. Boston Red Sox fans would like, more than anything, to be part of their champion team; the next best thing, they said, was to at least own a uniform with their name on it. You can’t go wrong with personalized shirts or jerseys for any MLB fan. Just make sure they print the right name and the right logo if you want to get a smile rather than a rise from your recipient.
  2. Baseball Memorabilia. A Hall of Fame autographed baseball is on top of the wish list for most people. Some say they’ve already got a spot on their display shelves just waiting to be filled with these special items. These memorabilia can be a bit costly, though. Nevertheless, if you’ve got money to spare, this would be a great gift, and perhaps a good investment as well.
  3. Major League Baseball Monopoly Sets. Kiddie fans hanker for this new edition of a classic game. I bet they won’t have trouble drawing their dad and buddies into a long round of team trading and property grabbing.
  4. Personalized Baseball Bats. Junior league players say that personalized bats are the coolest! Kids will surely be inspired by such personalized gear they can show off during little league games.
  5. Sports Mouse Pads. Sports fans can be techies too! Survey says these techies would love to receive mouse pads with their favorite team logo on it. A matching mouse won’t go unappreciated.
  6. MLB Cuff links. From techies to yuppies – stylish young men can’t go without cuff links. There’s a wide variety of designs available in the market. Chose from two-toned classic pieces to loud colorful and quirky baseball designs. With these unique pieces, you can be sure he’s got a one of a kind gift.
  7. Personalized Sports Dog Bowls. Apparently, most baseball fans we surveyed are canine lovers, too. If you can’t find the ideal gift for the person, why not look for something for the dog?
  8. Team Baseball Caps. Get an authentic team cap or a signed one. What is baseball without baseball caps? It’s the basic gear for any fan.
  9. Logo Wall Graphics. These are especially suited for kids and teens. Get them their own room and decorate it in baseball fashion. Maybe it’s just what the boy needs to push him to become the next Babe Ruth!
  10. Personalized Bean Bags. These surveyed fans don’t care if it fits in with the rest of the decor; they’d still love to have one!

Maybe a hundred fans is too small a sample to give a definitive ranking of favorite sports items but I’d say you’d be safe choosing from among the top ten, depending on the personality of the person you want to give the gift to. Just think it through for a bit then let the stress loose. It’s a gift, it’s free and it’s special – as long as you don’t get the team wrong, you’ll be fine.
