Do you think that there will be evidence to suspend Newton for Mississippi State allegations?

While it is illegal for a player to ask for extra benefits, I believe the only way he will considered ineligible this season or later down the road is if there is evidence that he took money from Auburn. There is still no smoking gun to say he asked for money from Mississippi State (no emails, texts, records) so that is a moot case. I think the only issue that can be proved is whether he did take money from Auburn through bank statements, transactions, etc.

No. I do not think that the Mississippi State allegations have merit.
