How hard is it to sneak alcohol into Universal Studios for Mardi Gras?

There pricing on alcohol is insanely high for seperate events (especially Mardi Gras) I live in Orlando and I will be going to Universal Studios Orlando’s Mardi Gras probably sometime this March or so. I was thinking about slipping vodka into a water bottle and putting it into my shoulder bag and bringing that with me? Will this work? Do they open and sniff water bottles when you are entering for Mardi Gras? Will I have any trouble doing this? Thanks!

On event nights they do not let guests carry in bottles of anything, even water. So it doesn’t matter whether they sniff it or not. When they search your bag, they’ll see the bottle, and ask you to finish it and/or throw it away before you even go into CityWalk.

Really your only chance to do this is if you conceal a flask somewhere in your clothes.

Of course, I don’t advise doing this. Breaking the rules will get you trespassed. Is it worth it to get kicked out of the parks for a year or more to save a few bucks? Get loaded at home and fine someone to drive you.
