Do I need ticket for the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade?

I was preparing to go to NYC to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade tomorrow morning. I was wondering if I need to buy any ticket for that? If yes, where should I obtain that and how much it is? Also, as I have a 3 year old daughter, I am worried about the weather being cold. Is there any indoor place where we can watch the parade from there if that is cold outside? In addition, when do you think I should plan to be there tomorrow to enjoy the parade?

There is no ticket required for the parade. Your best bet is to get there at least an hour early along the parade route 7:30-8:00AM would be a good time.

No place that I can recall that you can watch from inside and since the weather will be cold, bundle up and drink some hot chocolate.

Watch, enjoy and take pictures. I am sure your daughter will enjoy it very much as well as yourself.
