Have you ever gave some one best answer because they gave the stupidest answer?

they think they are so dam smart and i kind of feel like i should give them the best answer for being so stupid but then i would be cheating the person out of 10 points who gave the best answer.
what should i do?

Do the right thing & award Best Answer to the most thorough one that really helped you out! Any research or links are a good reason to choose the best. If the answer was extremely funny or creative, that may be a good enough reason for B.A., but I wouldn’t let the stupid one have the 10pts. You’re right, it wouldn’t be fair to the others. Some ppl spent 30 min or more on ea. question & really try to give the B.A. (I know I get quite passionate about some questions & really want to reach out & help)
