Decorative Flags??

How come garden or decorative flags are so popular in the US and just don’t catch on up here in Canada?

Perhaps it’s because the Canadian retailers haven’t stocked them in stores? Every department store and thrift shop has them here in the USA.
We enjoy showing off pride in our country, and since the 9-11 tragedy, all sorts of flags have been even more popular. You can get colorful windsocks, seasonal banners, and the ironwork to hang it all.

However, as popular as these items are right now, in a year or so the demand will fade (except for our national flag) and something else will take the spotlight.
