Gadsden Tea
Why do Tea Partyers wave the Gadsden Flag? Isn’t the Confederate Flag more appropriate?
The Confederate Flag stands for the exact same sentiments as the Tea Party:
- talks of state secession
- “State’s Rights” rhetoric
- Conservatism
- Anti-Federal Government
- Racism
- Support of rich getting richer (masters) on the backs of poor (slaves)
The Tea Party is anti-American.
