Do you believe a candidate running for president of America should salute the flag?

The American flag represents this country, its citizens and its ideology. Many Americans have given their lives to keep it freely flying. Many are doing is now. A candidate should recognize this and put any and all personal feelings aside. Plus it would give me serious doubt about this candidate true motives and how dedicated this candidate is to America.

There is nothing that says that you MUST salute the US flag.

BUT, as a candidate to become the leader of the US, yes, I do feel that at the very least, he should be showing his allegiance to this country by saluting the flag as needed. I know who you are referring to in this question, or believe I do anyway and am just a bit disturbed at his refusal to do so.
