England Flag
Is it racist or offensive to Scottish people to have a England flag in a window at my own house?
My son is a big fan of the England team. He recently placed an England flag in his bedroom window. A week later, the local council contacted us and ordered us to remove it as they had had a complaint, saying it was offensive. The man who contacted, through a complete slip up, revealed it was a Scottish family who had complained, saying it was racist and offensive to their culture. Now my 8 year old son is unhappy and I am wondering if this is right. Why can’t we place an England flag in our own country?? I come from Nottingham, England
Those Scottish people need to get a life! Seriously if they find it offensive why are they living in England?
Why are Scottish people etc allowed their flags here but we can’t have ours in our own country?!
Is it in England where this happened? because even if it isn’t, Scottish people, welsh people etc still have their flags in England! It’s the same principles!
