Are people from Duke University actually that arrogant, or am I missing something?

I feel that every person I’ve encountered from Duke is an arrogant jerk. I have come to really dislike everythin about the school. sad.

sorry you feel that way. being a duke fan myself, i know many people associated with the university. duke is an elite academic institution, as well as a great basketball program, and every powerhouse school like duke has its jerks and cocky, arrogant people. the duke fans are just looking more arrogant because they are one of the only universities with something to brag about as of late.

trust me. dont let the people you have met creat your negative opinion about the school. most of the people there are awsome people. also, you are not alone in hating duke. most of this country dispises duke because of its successful basketball program. they will have you believe it is because of coach k, the refs, or just the people in general. it’s not. all it is is jealousy. why do people hate the yankees? why do people hate the cowboys? because they win.
