Comments That my dog is ugly?

I posted some pictures of my dog on facebook. He’s a 4 year old boxer. He’s a brindle & quite typical w/ the floppy jaws & flat nose, his ears are not cropped. One of my relatives posted on my wall that my dog looks old & probably would be “making the journey” soon…as in dying from old age. When I informed her that the dog is only 4, she continued with the old, ugly dog comments. She has left like 10 wall comments regarding my old, ugly dog. Really, I’m wondering why the fascination with my dog? I’ve never had anyone make those kinds of comments about my dog, so I was shocked. Even if he is ugly & old looking… why does it matter.
I so seriously want to delete her, but I wonder if that is a bit extreme. Am I wrong for being annoyed by her comments?

i agree with “down to earth”: she has beef with you. she may be very jealous. she is attacking you through your dog. she probably doesn’t think your dog is ugly at all, but can’t find any other way to put you down.

i would just delete the comments. maybe edit your privacy settings so that she can’t see your pics.
