What are the similarities between the movies 12 angry men and crimson tide?

The movie is basically two men…both equally convinced of their position, with opinions that cannot both be correct, trying to persuade others to join their side.

One man acting as a bit of a bully, the other trying to argue from the side of reason, with the outcome being unsure until the very end.

And both involved torpedoes (ok…that one’s not true).
