How can convince my parents to get a dog?
Basically, My dad thinks its too much work and money.
My mom thinks the same but really wants one.
also they are concerned with vacation( because kenneling is expensive and concerned with who could watch it) they are concerned with like being gone all day ( beach, 6 flags, etc.)
I keep telling them they should worry about that later but they are mainly concerned with money and responsibility
My mom and brother and me picked out a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that we saw and I have really been trying to convince my parents before it too late ( so I would need to convince them in the next couple days)
PLEASE HELP
Also does anyone know everything you would need in the first month for your new puppy?
and about the total of money a dog would cost each year?
If im gone the whole day what about going to the bathroom?
( i wouldn’t be gone the whole day everyday just some days occasionally)

If you are gone for the day once your puppy is a bit older… you can buy a crate, put the dog in there.. its not crule my dog loves her crate she sleeps in there and it make her feel safe, just put in a bowl of water and maybe a bit of food… dogs rly only need to be fed 2 times a day, in the morning just dry food, in the afternoon i give them dry food and they split a half of can of Pure one dog food
