how does an army flag follow you?

how does an army flag follow you from unit to unit once it has been deleted and you are changing MOS?
well we all know that the flags on the uniforms are velcro and come right off I mean a 600-8-2 flag
i will be cahnging BN because i am completely changing MOS’s

Your 201 file isn’t the only paperwork the army has on you. At the BN level they have everything they need to know about you, and just because a flag gets dropped at unit level, it doesn’t mean it will be dropped at BN level. When you transfer to a new unit, that file goes with you and carries more weight than the file you have in your hand.
