House Flags

The designs are appliqued or printed in permanent ink. Stitching is done in nylon thread and is also durable, made to hold up in all weather; they are also machine washable. Wind socks are cylindrical banners of fabric, often topped with a character or animal. They catch the wind more dramatically than do traditional flags because of the comparative lightness and the shape of the sock. Other flags are the shape of the object depicted. Examples include, birds, flowers, and fish. Some hang like traditional flags; other hang from string tied to the flag pole.
