What size and how deep should a concete base be for 26′ aluminum flag pole? Pole base ground level.?
You would need to go 4 feet deep to be safe from frost and maintain stability.Normally a 2×2 foot square x 8 inches thick base with a 16×16 pillar on top. However depending on your location and wind and soil conditions you could get away with downsizing to a 16×16 inch base with a 12×12 inch pillar.
