F22 Fighter And Pilot Missing

The military has started searching for a lost plane. The F-22 fighter aircraft went missing recently. A single pilot was in the F22 on a “training mission” when it dropped contact with air traffic control. The stealth fighter did not broadcast any mayday before losing contact.

On Tues evening at 7:40 p.m. Alaska time frame, air traffic lost contact with an aircraft. This aircraft was an F-22 Raptor jet. Elmendorf’s 3rd wing is stationed in Alaska. The pilot was part of this wing. Search and rescue teams have been dispatched to areas around the last known location of the F-22 Raptor. They are also trying to find the aircraft with C-130 aircraft and military helicopters. As of right now, nothing has actually been heard from the pilot of the F-22 Raptor or the aircraft itself.
